With a diverse background encompassing successful careers in the Entertainment industry and for the last 8 years in Hospitality, I am now seeking a new challenge in the exciting world of Adland - looking to leverage my unique blend of creativity, strategic thinking, organisation and leadership skills to deliver great results.Advertising has always sparked my interest as it is packed with everything that drives me and my passions in a career – the ability to create and make a meaningful impact on human perceptions and behaviours through collaboration, problem solving and using innovative trends to drive success.Acting was a core part of my life from a very young age and where I gained fundamental life skills that formed the basis of an incredible work ethic: Punctuality, research, communication, collaboration, free-thinking but at the same time being able to take direction and listen. These are all skills I gained and brought with me into forever evolving as an employee.I learnt a lot about human behaviour and trying to create something that drives conversation - just like in creative marketing. The work is open to scrutiny, as well as praise, but you can still strive to create the best work and it is that mentality that drives me and continues to do so.I brought these skills with me moving into the Hospitality industry and over the next 8 years I would harness them, grow in confidence, and gain a multitude of others. I learnt what success looked like. It empowered but also humbled me and that growth led me to my current role today. My organisational ability, great attention to detail, analytical/ methodical approach and strong leadership skills were the driving force for me being fundamental to the growth of the company, which grew from two to fifteen highly successful sites.Sadly, the changing landscape of the food service industry has underscored the need for a new challenge that aligns with my renewed sense of purpose, curiosity, and creative interests.I may not have experience in this industry yet – I have a lot to learn, and I fully understand that and truly welcome it.
