 Directed, mentored and supported up to 24 personnel, engaged in installing, diagnosing, programming and maintaining avionic equipment, support instrumentation and aircraft components; managed maintenance programs; and controlled hazardous waste and materials Successfully led the maintenance team during LANTIRN (Low Altitude Navigational Targeting Infrared for Night) - targeting and navigation pods maintenance including the cockpit television recording systems, airborne video recorders and all associated support equipment. Performed upgrades and engineering prototype modifications, which maintenance personnel at the Lockheed Martin Factory had failed to rectify - resulting in allowing the product validation efforts to continue without further delay Conducted regular risk assessments and safety inspections to ensure compliance with quality assurance, statutory requirements and organisational procedures including: hazardous materials and precious metals recovery.
