As a Product and Segment Specialist at Connectfirst Credit Union, I am responsible for conducting comprehensive market and competitor research, developing and executing promotional and product offers, and creating supporting documentation, such as terms and conditions, frequently asked questions, internal employee sales guides, knowledge articles, and product business cases. My role also includes analyzing our product portfolio to ensure that our offerings provide value to both our members and the company.I report directly to the Director of Products Proposition and Payments and collaborate with various teams, including treasury, finance, marketing, IT, and sales leaders, to align our product, pricing, promotion, and people strategies. By doing so, I contribute to the organization's success in achieving its product goals and objectives.Some of my key accomplishments in this role include:Redesigned and updated our internal product Knowledge Base, which has made our product resources more accessible and informative for frontline staff.Assisted in the ideation, creation and implementation of multiple KPI-driven promotions and initiatives, including an employee-to-member referral program, pre-approved loan offer, numerous member acquisition promotions, geographic and demographic-specific promotions and a multitude of other initiatives.Through conducting weekly market scans, I have informed senior leaders about our competitors and the competitive landscape, which has directly impacted our pricing strategy.Completed a comprehensive review of our product and service fees disclosure, which led to recommending new pricing strategies and opportunities to increase non-interest revenue.

I had the opportunity to work on the CIBC Westhills banking team. Throughout this role, I learned to identify the needs of our customers and recommend products and services to help our clients reach their financial goals. I also aided in the digital adoption of our online banking app with clients who traditionally prefer to do their banking in a branch. Though this role was primarily customer service focused, there was an emphasis on generating leads and cross-selling various products and services to create a valuable and seamless banking experience.

Coached and trained over 40 young skiers through two seasons, in disciplines of freestyle skiing. Helping the skiers to achieve their potential in sport and in life while at the same time having fun. Actively promote and recruit to the sport of freestyle skiing.
