Athletics and Outdoor ProgramsOversee facilitation of all Physical Education classes w/ emphasis on outdoor adventure classes.Logistically manage, staff and budget for over 45 recreation events per year for students, staff, and faculty. Activities including; Salmon Fishing, Surfing, Tree Climbing, Hot-Air Ballooning etc.Organize freshman orientation adventures for 125+incoming students at the beginning of the school year. Collaborate nationally with outdoor educators and national organization such as AORE to offer the National Conference 2014 and regional meetings with NW outdoor program coordinators to research best practices in outdoor education.Manage 12 student workers on various tasks including management of outdoor rental equipment, climbing wall management, logistic planning of outdoor events and risk management assessment of proposed activities.Collaborate with faculty, students and staff to create programming in various leadership opportunities that work with DEI resources and JEDI practices.Chair of alcohol and other drug (AOD) panel working with staff, faculty and Judicial Board members to offer restorative practices for AOD violations.Collaborate with student life department members working on check-ins and wellness offerings for students struggling with varied academic, social and medical concerns via Care Team.Oversee the general operation of a ski-cabin on Mt. Hood. Manage full-time Ski-Cabin manager and an online reservations system.Charged with fiscal management of five operational budgets ranging from $200k- $7k for different organizations on campus.

Instructed 40-60 students, staff and faculty members on 15-passenger van safety. 24 Hour On call emergency staff member for 15-passenger van related emergencies.Created numerous van safety programs that have proven effective in managing risk for our driving program.Maintained basic mechanical duties over our passenger van fleet.Hired employees and managed our Night-bus program that transports Reed Community members to off-campus housing.Managed a staff of over 30 students yearly in operation and management of a high use sporting facility. Facilitated the day-to-day operation of Physical Education classes.

Responsible for profits and revenue for a $500K business.Managed 14 employees in the teaching of Rock climbing to consumers. Implemented a Point of Sale database system for 2 climbing business in the Seattle area. This allowed both businesses to access membership data bases and track sales.Creatively designed and assisted the owner in a local television ad campaign designed to increase profits.
