In addition color banded and attached geolocators and color band to Prothonatory Warblers for the Audubon Society and collected blood samples for a study for the University of Louisiana, Lafayette from Hooded Warblers and other passerine birds.

Isolated and sequenced mitochondrial gene Cytb in frog species Austrochaperina palmipes as part of a project to better understand potential species complex, Collected morphological data on Carlia bicarinata, Gained experience in data collection and inventory from various museum projects (i.e. marked paratypes in collection). Presented at the annual Ernie Liner Herpetological Conference.

Worked as an assistant collecting entomological and crop growth data, primarily in the field, at various research sites in Texas and Louisiana. Applied pesticides and maintained test plots. Collected samples from rice fields in Cameron Parish. Assembled and catalogued data from pitfall traps.
