Current- Grew Xbox Wire, the official news channel of Xbox, to over 35M pageviews/year, an increase of nearly 700% since Year One. Achieved double-digit YoY growth every year by implementing aggressive SEO practices, growing the site’s social media presence, and working with Xbox Social, Marcom, and Digital teams to promote our content.- Directed editorial strategy for Xbox Wire, implementing best practices and processes to improve workflow and reduce churn while simultaneously growing traffic and reducing costs. Extended these efforts to multiple Xbox teams, also launching sub-sites for ID@Xbox and Xbox Insider on the Xbox Wire backend.- Drove two consumer-facing site redesigns and a backend CMS migration, managing external development teams and working closely with internal partners to ensure full accessibility, privacy, and security site compliance according to Microsoft owned channel guidelines.- Launched international versions of Xbox Wire in five markets (LATAM, FR, DE, BR, and RU), working with local teams to navigate cultural differences and implementing best practices and processes to ensure teams had time and resources to translate articles and create content of their own. Each of these sites has grown more than 300% since their first full year.- Drove owned channel storytelling efforts for dozens of major company moments, from industry events like E3 and gamescom to product-centric beats like the unveiling of Xbox Series X|S and Xbox Game Pass. Wrote blog posts and feature stories to support many of these moments, as well as ghostwriting of many thought leadership posts for Xbox executive team members.- Implemented revenue tracking for Xbox Wire in 2016, then worked with the Microsoft Store team to develop a WordPress module to highlight digital items for sale within articles. Grew revenue to over $25M in 2021, a 500% increase from Year One.
