Responsible for; client briefing, design, documentation, statutory approvals, materials selection, interior layouts & finishes, consultant co-ordination, trade/shop drawing approvals for new & altered complex residential projects. Assistance with managing budgets and contracts to meet client and project requirements.

Associate architect, responsible for leading and managing projects from concept to occupation. The role includes liaising with all project stakeholders, developing client & contractor relationships. I was accountable for delivering projects within stipulated budgets and ensuring profitability of the fees within the office. Both of which I continuously succeeded.The projects are complex in nature as they involve alterations & additions to existing buildings constructed from numerous structural systems and services, under numerous building codes, dating back to Ordinance 70.All projects in the office are undertaken using lump sum contracts, requiring a thorough knowledge of contract administration, a high level of financial supervision, and negotiation with contractors.Aside from leading projects, other roles included preparing fee bids & proposals in conjunction with the principle, mentoring staff, developing & contributing to quality assurance procedures and project reviews across the office.

Part time consultancy role at Senior Associate level, managing a key projects being undertaken in the office. Role including contributing to the design development, managing the documentation for lump sum contract procurement.

As the Associate Director, reporting directly to the equity partners, with a staff workforce varying between 30-40 persons. I was responsible for both Practice & Project Management across the office with the support of Associate Architects & Interior Designers. My role included leading complex & multi faceted projects from concept to delivery, liaising directly with clients, authorities & project consultants, ranging in project budgets from $5M to $60M value.
