I was accountable for delivering projects within stipulated budgets and ensuring profitability of the fees within the office. Both of which I continuously succeeded.The projects are complex in nature as they involve alterations & additions to existing buildings constructed from numerous structural systems and services, under numerous building codes, dating back to Ordinance 70.All projects in the office are undertaken using lump sum contracts, requiring a thorough knowledge of contract administration, a high level of financial supervision, and negotiation with contractors.Aside from leading projects, other roles included preparing fee bids & proposals in conjunction with the principle, mentoring staff, developing & contributing to quality assurance procedures and project reviews across the office.
