In early 2022, I was promoted to the role of Operations Manager for the Paradym team at Constellation1. In this role, I manage our support staff’s responses to customers, via phone, chat, and email. I oversee our ticketing software and have helped generate a 30% bump in utilization from February 2022 to present despite the loss of three employees from our team. I'm judged on key performance indicators such as utilization, ticket response time, and more.Alongside those duties, I continue to aid in technical and content writing for the company thanks to skills accumulated in past work. I've co-managed and helped deliver a project meant to tie two of our separate products together, with a large amount of my duties centered around turning the technical writing into something readable for our management team.

Running Paradym's content library for automated social media posts, performing quality assurance and ensuring real estate agents receive the best work possible from our team of contributors. Each post that goes out through our Reach Social system is written and edited by myself. I recruit, hire, and manage a small team of five contractors who work with our content library. Work with various departments at the company, receiving feedback and implementing new strategies into the Content Team.

Currently working as contributor with FOX Sports Knoxville, a sports radio station based in Knoxville, Tennessee. Creator, editor, and lead writer of the site's 2017 College Football Preview and writer of video-inclusive Tennessee football game previews. Previously edited website (January 2017-May 2017) and ran Twitter account (January 2017-August 2017). Goal was to increase website traffic through a greater quality and quantity of digital content through video, audio, and written word. Provided data analytics research and analysis for advertising optimization. In first month of work, traffic nearly doubled that of the November/December traffic combined, along with the click-through rate on ads doubling. Also direct social media accounts for FOX Sports Knoxville, including a partnership with Football Time in Tennessee magazine. These social media accounts total over 71,000 combined followers. Station Twitter account received nearly three million Twitter impressions in first month of work, more than its combined amount in November and December of 2.41 million. Prior to starting at FOX Sports Knoxville, Twitter account had received more than 1.4 million impressions once in last nine months. The account now averages 1.7 million impressions per 28 day period. Frequently appear on radio show Talk Sports twice per week, discussing University of Tennessee sports using statistics and research.

Currently researching statistical modeling and predictive analytics to create sports analytics solutions for clients. Recently created model for NCAA Tournament based on advanced metrics and historical statistics to help users accurately predict games. Using R and Excel, in the process of creating an NCAA Tournament model based on the past 33 years of results, using several different statistics that predict overperformance and underperformance with a high success rate. Learning SQL to create a database using the information sourced from these 33 years of results so users can create and read unique searches. Created prediction model for Tennessee high school football in 2017, which is in a testing process. In early stages of creating a high school recruiting tool meant to help smaller two and four-year universities in Tennessee with help from TSSAA and MaxPreps.com that finds undervalued talent through statistics adjusted to strength of schedule. Also performing historical research on educational trends through the "proficiency vs. growth" debate.

Worked in role as information resource at company, helping all on team accomplish their deliverables on time or ahead of schedule. Used experience in technical and creative writing to create high-quality solutions for all clients. Provided web management and development services to healthcare professionals and doctors throughout the Southeast, including Campbell Cunningham Laser Center, DentaCare of Knoxville, MidWest Eye Center, Atlanta Face & Body, and Dr. Dan Thompson, D.D.S., along with businesses outside of healthcare. Write code for sites that requires HTML/CSS knowledge. Wrote entire DentaCare of Knoxville website, which features 25+ pages of content. Designed sitemap and worked closely with site editors and administrator to ensure best possible product. Developed sitemap, concept, and writing for Johnson & Company General Store website.

Served as Proposal Coordinator for the Pro2Serve Oak Ridge office supporting Federal Government proposals from the bid decision through award. Worked collaboratively with senior company management, proposal managers, and proposal development teams to develop compelling sales products under strict deadlines. Edited and analyzed sales documents to ensure compliance with internal standards and client requirements. Created graphs, charts, and other graphics based on data analysis as needed for sales products and documents. Wrote major section of largest technical proposal in company history. Led proposal production. Generated a weekly Business Development report for upper management containing sales pipeline data and related deadlines. Recruited for contingency positions in Business Development as needed. Managed all inventory in Business Development for external and internal productions.Example Project: Envisioned, created, and managed an online resume database for company resumes to be stored and accessed for editing. Previously, requests to update resumes were individually emailed to employees and supervisors with responses taking several weeks, resulting in an inefficient process for the annual company-wide resume update. After pitching the idea and receiving management approval, coordinated with the company’s IT department to design and develop the database using Moodle CMS and basic SQL. Each employee now has a Wiki page using HTML/CSS coding on which a general summary and previous jobs are fully populated, creating an easy-to-read biography. Employees have the ability to go into the database at any time and update their resumes. Native resume files are also available for each employee, giving supervisors ease of access to use and edit employee resumes.

As an undergraduate student at the University of Tennessee, wrote for the student newspaper, The Daily Beacon, during senior year. Worked in the Arts & Culture section of the newspaper, writing media reviews and commentary on a weekly and daily basis. An article in December 2014 became the newspaper’s most-read article of the fall semester, with over 23,000 page views.

During college, worked as an After School Counselor at Sacred Heart Cathedral School. Oversaw 25-30 middle school children each weekday and performed several duties, including tutoring children in English and other subjects as needed. Implemented, explained, and enforced new rules as requested by supervisors. Observed and analyzed impacts of new rules, reporting back to supervisors. Effectively resolved escalating conflicts as appropriate. Improved communication among the middle school group of children, along with helping facilitate a team-driven environment.

As a Board Operator at WCPI 91.3 FM, operated all functions of a public radio station, including playing music, advertisements, and previously-recorded shows while also producing live shows. Recorded local/national news and sports updates with original scripts. Communicated current events to an audience that spans eight counties in Middle Tennessee. Wrote and sold advertisements to area businesses, and recorded advertisements. Created and maintained a Facebook page and website for the station. Produced and co-hosted a sports-centered talk show for two years. Helped present and promote special events at the station, such as station fundraisers.

While in high school, performed video production for Warren County Schools Television, filming broadcast materials and school-related events that were live or tape-delayed. Learned basics of video production, including operation of cameras and editing techniques. Covered sports events, school board meetings, city council meetings, and various school events.
