Part of a small team involved in the full life cycle from specifying projects and eliciting requirements, design, implementation, testing, documentation and maintenance. Tools include C++, Javascript / TypeScript using Node.js, Angular and D3, Git, MySQL and SQL Server.Projects varied from small industrial applications (eg measuring the thickness of plasterboard as it is produced with a laser gauge) to large ongoing installations (maintaining a large SCADA system at the M25 Dartford crossing, the UI of which the writer designed and built) and the tunnel vent system for CrossRail (our software finished Spring 2018).

Provided Tech Support for many products, notably Delphi, which at that time was new.Created and contributed to the development of in-house CRM systems.Investigated new products for taking on.Assisted in development of in-house products.Edited the software catalogue, solicited editorial.

.EXE was the foremost British Programmers' magazine of its time, eventually becoming defunct in 2000. I worked there for about five years. Contributed numerous articles, commissioned and edited copy, managed contributors, devisied editorial policy, plus evaluation of software for review etc.
