• Leading the team in delivery of the Plan, using co-sourced providers to add additional expertise where appropriate
• Supporting the timely closure of actions derived from internal audit reviewsEnterprise Risk Management (ERM)
• Establishing the ERM approach, working with the Executive Leadership Team and Risk Liaisons to agree and report upon the Key Group Risks and leading the bi-annual review thereof.
• Facilitating the quarterly Executive Risk Committee (ERC) meetings, including consideration of any incremental action required from the bi-annual review of Key Group Risks; any emerging risks; and deep-dives into.

• Reporting to the CFO, the role is responsible for helping the Executive identify the Group’s key risks; review and challenge the adequacy of response; actively support the management of risk, including risk transfer.
• Approves the Group’s Risk Management, Business Continuity and Insurance strategies, policies and plans of work
• Line manages and supports the 3 sub-function heads in delivery, providing regular updates to the CFO and Board + management of 5 other indirect reports and 2 dotted line reports
• Owns the budget for Risk & Resilience, including Group expenditure on InsuranceRisk Management
• Provides insight and scrutiny on the key risks to the Group
• Partners with and provides challenge to the Executive on the adequacy of their response to key Group Risks and the assurance thereof
