• Facilitate the definition of project scope, objectives and deliverables, business requirements documents, budget proposals and technical specifications documents.
• Lead the planning and implementation of project and coordinate and facilitate delivery of project objectives, plan and schedule. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
• Organise and facilitate regular meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other agile project-related meetings.
• Establish clear ownership and accountabilities for project tasks; ensure that team members have the tools needed and provide timely feedback.
• Coach and supervise project team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.

• Full P&L responsibility for the UK Omnichannel business.
• Define and deliver the omnichannel strategy to drive sales.
• Manage, motivate and develop a team of 17 people across all key areas of online retail, including Marketing, Merchandising, Operations, IT and Analytics.
• Lead contract negotiations and renewals with a range of key suppliers and external agencies.

Witney, Oxford

• Developing and delivering the global online platform, ensuring the maximisation of sales and profit for the online channel, and driving for the Whittard website to be ‘best in class’.
• Ensure that all online tools and resources are tailored to each category and focused on making the channel ‘inspire and sell’ to all customers.
• Define and direct the global online communications strategy and ensure its cohesive implementation.
• Develop and drive a comprehensive web strategy within the multi-channel vision of the company to increase sales and profits, and to ensure the appropriate product offer is available to customers.

• Take overall responsibility for the ecommerce technology solution for Toys R Us, including 3rd party providers, security, development planning, scoping and testing, performance and stability, as well as integration.
• Manage and lead Toys R Us Direct‘s operational areas, handling 460,000 orders, 1.1 million items despatched, 101,000 calls and 105,000 emails in 2009.
• Oversee the 3rd party call centre and fulfilment provider, Customer Service, Fraud prevention, Returns, Fulfillment, and Process and Quality procedures.
• Manage and direct sales reporting and analysis, budget planning and reviews.
• Liaise with the Store Operational Teams to develop and enhance online services within the bricks and mortar locations (for example in-store ordering).
• Work closely alongside the online and offline Marketing and Product Teams to develop and enhance the strategy for the online business.

• Responsible for the day to day warehouse and contact centre operations for Toys R Us Direct.
