William previously worked at Richard Rogers Partnership (now Rogers Stirk Harbour & Partners) joining in 2001 and being made an associate in 2007. He worked on a variety of projects ranging from: Office buildings such as the Leadenhall Building and Chiswick Park in London and the PABT tower in New York: Hotels in Kensington and The Berkeley Hotel Knightsbridge London: Mixed use Leisure and Residential Masterplans with schemes for the YMCA and in Taiwan: Healthcare projects for the Maggies charity and Guys Hospital Foundation Trust.William was the project architect for Maggie’s Centre London, creating a domestic scale cancer caring centre in the grounds of Charring Cross Hospital, taking the project all the way through from concept design to completion of construction on site. The project being awarded amongst others the 2009 RIBA Stirling Prize.Following work for a new hospital facility in Edinburgh and prototype healthcare facilities for Circle Healthcare; William has more recently been the lead associate architect on the new Cancer Centre for Guys & St Thomas and mixed use schemes for the re-branding of the YMCA. William set up Wimshurst Partners now Wimshurst Pelleriti in 2013 to build on this experience and is at present working on numerous residential and mixed use schemes.
