I started at Mathnasium as a senior in high-school. As an instructor, I was responsible for giving each student at my table the best math education using what is called the “Mathnasium Method”. I was required to be an expert in all maths from first grade math all the way to college Calculus. I was required to use my skills more in the latter of those. Six months after I started my employment, I was promoted to Lead Instructor. As Lead Instructor, I was responsible for running and managing the instruction floor. I usually had to manage 2-4 other instructors as well as instruct a table of my own. With the promotion came other administrative duties as well. I constructed all of the learning material for each of the students and kept up with it on a regular basis. I input grades, managed the floor,and continued to deliver expert mathematics instruction on a day to day basis. I was also the proud recipient of Instructor of the Year for the Richmond area and was in competition for Instructor of the Year for all of North America during my employment.

As a host, I was responsible for assuring that each restaurant guest was greeted with a friendly disposition and quickly. As a bus boy, I was held responsible for cleaning the restaurant quickly and efficiently as to ensure the flow of the restaurant was unhindered. After I was a host and bus boy for long enough, I was made a bar back. I cleaned the bar and the glasses and performed closing duties on a regular basis.

I was responsible for the placing of, cleaning of, and storing of golf carts for the country club. I also picked the driving range and maintained the quality of the golf course. I was responsible for opening and closing the course on separate occasions depending on when I was scheduled to work.
