Worked on custom ROS services using sensor fusion and state machines that enable the rover to navigate autonomously to various GPS waypoints and perform various tasks autonomously

Designed embedded C++ firmware to interact with various sensors, motors, and a 4 DOF model arm using I2C, PWM, and serial. Also, I designed ROS nodes to publish that data to other systems (such as for autonomous navigation) and to receive data from other systems (such as for driving a motor)

Managed efforts to increase communication, transparency, and accessibility of the club for new members by introducing a new task management system and improving leadership policies among club leadership. I also coordinated a variety of events ranging from knowledge shares in inter-club meet ups to outreach events to simple team game nights to increase team cohesion, provide growth opportunities, and to give back to the community

- Developed and implemented parallelized image processing algorithms on the GPU using CUDA/C++ that enabled real-time, enhanced 2D and future 3D color flow imaging that was previously blocked by CPU bound algorithms- Pioneered new OpenCV usage on GPU signal processing paths and educated other interns on my OpenCV framework, which simplified GPU development and enabled easier access to GPU acceleration for certain tasks

- Spearheaded development on an internal Go development platform that reduced the time to spin up and deploy a brand new “production ready” microservice with auth, CI/CD, logging, and interservice communications from days to under 10 minutes using custom reusable Go components, Jenkins jobs, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and AWS services- Launched new integrations with other business units by co-leading meetings, training other developers, and kick-starting development projects to propel Cisco’s transition to a unified cloud and create strategic value - Led the development of new features ranging from a metrics collection and visualization service, bulk data ingress tools, and multi-product integrations by refining problem statements into maintainable solutions, conducting trade-off analyses, securing team buy-in, and implementing scalable applications across multiple repositories and services

Worked on improving lidar wall detection/navigation on the Convoy research project

- Developed scalable APIs and websites for thousands of users to access and provision certificates in Integrity’s PKI written in NodeJS, C#, and React powered by Mongo, Docker, Cloud Formation, SQS, and other AWS services- Excelled in a rapidly evolving team that frequently required me to pivot between full feature implementation, deployment, defining project requirements, and planning to efficiently and effectively address business needs - Planned and implemented a custom certificate bundler feature to batch provision and store hundreds of V2V and V2I certificates with only a few clicks that saves the support teams hours of work every week

- Architected and implemented an automation tool for non-technical staff to safely create, synthesize, access, and modify data on a remote server through a website and API using AWS, Angular, .NETCore, and SQL- Reduced data entry time enormously by creating an Angular app for reformatting, cleaning, and storing data from external companies with an asynchronous data pipeline and API powered by RabbitMQ and Python- Collaborated with developers and testers to gather feedback and repeatedly revise and improve projects- Utilized Docker and containerization to reduce the complexity of running and deploying projects- Developed code that interfaced with Microsoft SQL Server to validate permissions and query data of entities
