When I was introduced to Weekenders in 1988, I was a mom with two boys under four, working in the financial industry. I realized this was my opportunity to achieve my goal to be at home during the day with my children rather than sending them to daycare while still contributing to our household income.I achieved that goal AND I helped my family build a big beautiful new house in North Vancouver (in 1991) and purchase our dream house in West Vancouver with a breathtaking view overlooking Vancouver’s Inner Harbour and city lights. I traveled the world on incentive trips and built life-long friendships with many amazing women. Most importantly, I found out what I was able to achieve when I believed in myself.
