As the facilities manager for two office buildings and the project manager presiding over roof repair/replacement for 12 properties, I coordinate with Chief of Maintenance, Chief Financial Officer, Contracting Officer and other officials to advance remodeling efforts, investigate purchasing and contracting improprieties, interpret procurement policy provisions, and produce bids, RFPs and specifications. I also train and direct staff in addition to updating training materials on procurement and purchasing processes. To date, I have: Successfully executed updates to HR payroll and IT systems as well as VOIP phone systems and cell phone systems for Metro West Housing Solutions and a 14-property portfolio. Ensured procurement and maintenance of property supplies for 14 apartment complexes with approximately 1400 residents to sustain services throughout Coronavirus pandemic.

In this previous role, I assured fulfillment of HUD HQS standards in Lakewood housing properties by scheduling and completing initial, annual and special inspections according to HUD guidelines. My work involved re-inspecting and resolving all failing inspection as well as coordinating with landlords and tenants to correct inspection and certification issues within scheduling parameters. I maintained rent reasonableness and inspector general programs; completed special projects; acted as departmental representative for retirement board; and provided front desk customer service assistance. I’m particularly proud of how I completed more than 13,000 inspections for Section 8 HUD standards.
