Final Year Computer Science student at the University of Manchester, currently looking for graduate and part-time roles in Software Engineering or Cyber Security.Recently, I completed an internship at Darktrace, a leading AI Cyber Security company. This internship was split up into two 4 week sections, the first four weeks were in the analyst team and final four weeks were in the Cyber Technologist (CT) team. As part of the analyst role, we completed a purple teaming project. Working with another intern, we created a key-logger in Python which exfiltrated data over HTTPS to a C2 server we had set up running a dockerised FastAPI server. In the CT team, we were exposed to every part of the sales process, from proof of value sessions to upsell and renewals. Our final task was to present a UI familiarisation on Darktrace/Email to an internal audience.As part of my degree, I completed a year in industry at Vodafone. Here, I was software engineer in the IoT department working on a wide range of projects including: setting up hardware for an indoor tracking system, using OpenCV for many computer vision projects, training models using YOLOv8 for ANPR, creating an IoT gateway that communicated over wired and wireless (ESPNOW) connections in MicroPython, and developing and deploying (on AWS) full-stack applications using React with TypeScript, FastAPI and a ThingWorx database.
