Profile bio

About Will Baines

I am a skilled digital professional with a strong background in e-commerce. I have worked for the last 6 years as an integral part of the digital team at JJ Fox Cigar Merchants and The Folio Society where I have developed numerous front-end skills, primarily with Magento hosted websites. I have been involved in multiple migrations between websites and been responsible for content, product and promotion management, basic front end technical support and training, reporting & site design. I am a naturally curious person and have taken courses in web development including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node & REACT to help me better troubleshoot and find solutions to common problems within my day job. Before we moved to a Magento based website, I was required to utilise skills with SQL which I am very comfortable with. Prior to my roles within digital, I had a successful career within the hospitality sector, line managing teams of up to 20 employees and working within tight budgets and timeframes. I am comfortable communicating with senior staff members and can relay complex information in ways which are understandable to the stakeholder. I am looking for a role where I can expand my skill set and where I can see a roadmap for progression to further my career.

Listed skills include Customer Service, Social Media, Microsoft Excel, Management, and 40 others.
