After 6 years working on and off in retail, ESPA gave me a fantastic opportunity to develop professionally in a business to business environment. Learning about the journeys and challenges of our fast-growing host companies has been fascinating. Over the past 8 years ESPA has built up relationships with a network of over 1200 universities across 34 European countries, creating meaningful internship opportunities in UK companies, who get to work with motivated and talented Bachelor/ Master’s degree level students. They bring language skills, cultural awareness, as well as up-to-date specialised skillsets, not to mention enthusiasm and a high drive to succeed. The flexibility of our programme means that we can access students at all times of year, and as it’s partly grant-funded, it is also an incredibly cost-effective method of growing a business. A wonderful win-win situation, which has helped many of our host companies to grow and develop whilst investing in the next generation of international talent. I pay close attention to your company’s needs and help you identify the areas where you can utilise this grant-funded talent.During each placement, we are continually in touch with both the student and the company so that we can check both parties are happy with their progress.
