I work on behalf of a range of clients covering a wide spectrum of town planning. My work includes that with national housebuilders, developers and landowners to secure planning permission on '5-year supply' sites across the West Midlands, South Worcestershire, Leicestershire and the Bedfordshire area. Increasingly engaging at a local level through the Neighbourhood Plan process. Experience with land promotion and the submission of representations to emerging Plans.Community and local political engagement undertaken including the arrangement, preparation and manning of consultation events. I also work on behalf of clients in the rural area on a range of matters including permitted development, barn conversions and the removal of agricultural occupancy ties to help realise the value of underused assets.I maintain a keen interest in, and regular involvement with, broader development management issues including smaller scale urban development, householder and enforcement matters.Experience in a range of appeal matters, including preparing Counsel instructions, attending conferences, preparation of statements and acting as expert witness.
