I have a passion for programming, making things and all things tech, I have a keen interest in AI and Machine Learning, which is reflected in my pursuit of a degree in Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence. To compliment my degree, I have recently completed a placement year at Ovarro, doing software engineering, where I am learning a lot about solving real problems as part of a team. I am now working part time at Ovarro alongside completing my final year at university.In my spare time I enjoy playing video games, watching Formula 1 and making things, usually programming projects. One of my proudest projects is my OpenCL raytracer, which has been a long term project of mine, and is still a work in progress, but has taught me a lot about how ray tracing works, and how to optimise code for parallel execution.I also enjoy the hardware aspect of computers, having built my own PC and TrueNAS system, I follow the latest hardware news and enjoy learning about the latest technologies. I also have a VPS running Ubuntu, which I use for hosting my personal website, along with other miscellaneous things such as a VPN and occasionally a game server.
