Working as an operations mechanical engineer at multiple Facebook data centers across the world. Primarily responsible for HVAC systems including fans and water treatment. Also a part of new data center design and major retrofits to support newer generations of hardware.

Worked at a Microsoft data center as an operations Mechanical Engineer. Primary responsibility for HVAC systems of a 1MM+ CFM data center with 100% airside economizer. Other responsibilities included helping with rack deployments and infrastructure build out in new data centers.

Mechanical Engineer at two data centers expanding to 200K square feet of raised floor. Led effort for LEED Gold certification on a new data center and designed and implemented cost reduction activities to have an existing data center achieve Energy Star Certification (one of only 16 data centers nationwide, and only retail co-location to achieve the certification). Projects on currently operating data center have documented over 6 million kWH in annual energy savings measures.Currently working on design and construction of a third data center to be opened in the spring of 2012.

Electrical Engineer for Solar Farm construction. Responsibilities included preparing construction documentation and drawings for solar farm electrical consolidation and installation including DC and AC aggregation, inverter installation, direct burial cable, disconnect switchgear, SCADA and electrical grid tie-in. Focus on documentation and ability to design standard blocks for easy installation in multiple applications. Cost reduction and code compliance are emphasized and evaluated in an ongoing basis.

Facilities Engineer/Project Manager in a construction environment. Facilities engineering responsibilities include; design, installation, and commissioning (17100/LEED) of RO/DI, HVAC (>300,000 CFM) and exhaust systems (>150,000 CFM). Also included in the design and commissioning of PCW (1000 gpm), CDA (3000 cfm), chiller, water softening, cooling towers, controls and bulk and specialty gas delivery. Working with general contractor as well as subcontractors and engineering design firms to ensure proper system design, turnover and installation. Working with equipment owners on tool move in, hook-up and support of operations.

 Process Equipment Engineer for thin films area. Primary responsibilities were PVD equipment, including Applied Materials Endura PVD and Centura RTP, Anelva PVD equipment and associated support equipment including gas purifiers, cryogenic gas and standard pumping systems, cooling water loops and electrical support. Responsibilities included troubleshooting and tool repair, upgrades to tools and chambers, tool restarts, cost reduction (lean manufacturing), programming changes, development and maintenance of quality control specifications and any other day-to-day issues dealing with the aforementioned tools. This job required working on multi-departmental teams to accomplish different goals of process improvement, throughput improvement, maintenance reduction and overall cost reduction of the equipment. Also, during plant expansion performed the source inspection, budgeting, specification, refurbishment, move-in, facilitization, startup and process qualification of this equipment.
