Mercer Human Resources bought Mellon HR&IS in July 2005. I was responsible for the successful transition of the Mellon communications team and other staff into the Mercer business. After transition, I acted as a senior consultant to Mercer clients designing, selling and implementing employee branding, internal communications programs, Mergers & Acquisitions communications strategies, and devising new communication products for the market. I gained extensive experience in M&A communication and post-merger integration and consolidation as well as in employeebranding.

Mellon HR&IS was a leading superannuation management company and fund managing around 20% of the Australian superannuation market. I ran and managed Mellon’s Australian Communications Consulting practice, with responsibility for the strategy, planning, financial control of a $2.6m a year business with a team of 12 consultants and designers in Melbourne and Sydney. I provided strategic communications advice to superannuation and human resources consulting clients on integrated stakeholder communications. I devised strategies which tied superannuation into the corporate employee offering and enhanced the corporate brand.
