I also work closely with the strategy and new business teams delivering pitch winning digital solutions and prototypes that solve client’s problems. I have P&L responsibility ensuring that all the client projects are delivered successfully and profitably.I have a keen passion for UX and strongly believe that no matter how excellent your digital content might be, if a user can’t successfully consume and interact with your digital product, whether that be an application or website, then you have ultimately failed. -

Seven had traditional been a contract publishing company and when I joined the digital department was in its infancy. A large part of my role involved educating the traditional print teams to the world of digital publishing. Over a short period of time we were winning business away from the larger digital agencies and also winning a wealth of industry awards to boot.I creatively led all of the digital output and worked in depth with Seven’s internal stakeholders to transform traditional print work into stretched digital business. -

Digital Art DirectorEmap Digital 2000 - Aug 2002London, City Of London, GbDuring this period at EMAP I worked alongside the Group Art Director to take on the ambitious task of designing and launching from scratch, all of EMAP's music brands online. An 8 month deadline was given to launch and help monetise websites for the brands Q, MOJO, Select, Smash Hits, Kerrang!, Mixmag and Kiss 100.The website launches included the tricky integration with the HMV (remember them?!) database that powered the CD purchase engine of the sites.After the sites had launched I managed a team of designers to deliver daily design and production tasks for both the editorial and commercial teams.It was certainly an ambitious project and I was happy to see our hard work being rewarded with the awards that Q4music.com, Kiss100.com and Smashhits.net picked up between 2001 and 2003. -

Freelance DesignerNoho Digital Nov 1994 - May 1995NoHo Digital was established in 1994 by Tim Carrigan and Rob Bevan. Tim and Rob were true digital pioneers and were also particularly inspiring people to work for. I was very lucky to work on the extremely innovative CD-Rom that was cover mounted onto Dennis Publishing's CD-ROM magazine. It was a monthly interactive magazine that brought the printed version to life in the most creative way imaginable. The CD-Rom was truly ground breaking for the time and I was very happy to have been a part of its production.
