At 7 Diamonds Clothing, I am part of a team of Technical/Apparel Designers, Graphic Designers, Marketing Associates, and Production Specialists that create apparel and brand identity. On any given day, you will find me:• Creating graphic art including prints, patterns, textures, and more.• Designing labels and branding for private label and company clothing collections.• Building tech packs for various garments.• Photo editing for social media and other media outlets.• Creating wireframes/line art for new garment construction and layouts.• Measuring and sizing garments/samples.• Research and development for trend forecasting.• Creating in-store displays and other brick and mortar advertisements.• Writing copy and constructing graphics for our marketing team, including email blasts, social media posts, web banners/flyers, and more.• Building seasonal look books for company clothing lines.• Styling mood boards and generating color themes for upcoming seasons.• Establishing efficient communication between factories, production team and fellow designers to maintain acceptable time windows for garment manufacturing.• Keeping the peace and treating everyone with kindness.

At Built to Fight Industries, I was a graphic designer and apparel designer. I worked many different stations at the company, and enjoyed expanding my knowledge of apparel design and art. My responsibilities included:• Creating customized apparel mockups, tech packs, and original artwork for customers, manufacturers, and company clothing line.• Working closely with managers, sales representatives, printers, sewers, and junior designers to ensure proper creation of product and client satisfaction in a timely manner. • Managing archives and file storing for all artwork.• Oversight of textile selection, printing, sublimation, heat press, sewing processes, and sales orders.• Designing mailers and advertisements for online and in-person distribution.

For a brief period, I was hired at Built To Fight Industries as a Production Intern. I was later hired as a in-house designer. While learning the ropes, I was responsible for:• Understanding all aspects involved with apparel production from creation to finished product.• Working closely with production team to learn large-format printing, apparel design, tech packs, file storing, sublimation, heat press, and sewing processes. • Coordinating with sales representatives to learn sales approaches, marketing techniques, and client relations.

In my 5 years at Duke's Huntington Beach Restaurant, I served as busser, server, trainer, and food expeditor. I had started at Duke's as a busser in my second year of college and honestly enjoyed my time at the company. It was at Duke's that I found a second family while I was pursuing my degree and future. My responsibilities included:• Providing thorough customer service and time management while creating memorable guest experiences.• Showcasing knowledge of entire food and beverage menus and stay up to date with seasonal changes and specials.• Conducting daily building maintenance and organization. • Oversight of food production and quality control. • Working directly with management and corporate to increase profitability and balancing of menu. • Training of new employees within multiple departments. My achievements within Duke's included the “Passion for Quality” Award, "Bug for Cleanliness" Award x2, “What Can I Do For You?” Award, “Employee of the Month” and runner-up for “Employee of the Year 2012”.

During my college years, I also worked for Cannon Building as a Day Laborer and Superintendent Assistant. I was with the company for a short time because I was soon hired at Duke's Huntington Beach Restaurant. I'm thankful for my experience at Cannon Building because I learned basic skills necessary for home improvement and construction. My duties included:• Supervising job sites and coordinating with subcontractors and laborers.• Responsible for enforcement of safety regulations and standards.• Carpentry, demolition, maintenance, organization, fabrication, and cleaning among various construction sites.

My second job during college was with the Panera Bread restaurant group. I was hired on as a member of the opening staff at a new restaurant. It was here that I learned many skills that I still use today within the kitchen. Throughout my time at Panera Bread, my daily shifts included the following duties:• Providing excellent customer service for catering and in-store experiences.• Taking phone orders and catering orders, building said orders, and delivering orders in a timely matter to customers.• Safely operating food service equipment while creating flawless food/product for customers and employees.• Logistics and shipment tracking, as well as the unloading and organizing of weekly shipments providing correct counts of goods received.• Training and teaching new employees in multiple departments.• Prepping recipes components and food backup for upcoming days based on customer purchase data.My achievements with Panera Bread included the “WOW Pin” for top employee of the period and multiple “HUG Pins” for exceptional employee.

My first job right after I had graduated high school was a part-time position at Target. I worked as Backroom team member. It was here that I first learned how to communicate with customers and the general public. During a typical shift, my responsibilities included:• Tracking orders and deliveries from Target warehouses and transporting shipments to Target stores.• Providing excellent customer service and conducting sales floor calls. • Stocking shelves/displays and organizing sales floor.• Taking phone calls and orders from inquiring customers.
