Ooooby is a high profile local food eco-system that's exploring better ways to grow and get our food. With a founders role, I volunteered a total of 6 months to this social enterprise in two separate stints - first during its initial months as a "local food movement", and then again to re-invent her as a social enterprise setting the stage for its next chapter with a viable business model by offering local produce delivered to doors.

Snapperfish developed the leading wireless email client for Palm OS in the heady days of the early handheld revolution. SnapperMail won countless awards and much acclaim from the press, including a rare rave review from Walt Mossberg of the Wall Street Journal. Many of my learnings as an entrepreneur stem from this project. We grew an idea into a groundbreaking product that became a profitable multi-million dollar company in a 3-year whirlwind.

We explored ways personalizing mobile devices and smartphones (circa 2001) with co-founder Bozidar Benc who was a legend in our industry. The product was called Launcher X, it was one of the earliest of app launchers, and through some marketing genius it became the most anticipated Palm OS software product of 2002, averaging one sale every six seconds on launch day.

My very first business! The lure of the dot com boom and a driving passion to surf the incoming mobile wave was too great a temptation to keep me at my desk job. So I branched out offering design services to US-based startups in the early age of mobile software. It was a great stint at learning the startup trade through osmosis, in particular via Quickoffice (acquired by Google) who took up the bulk of my time, and also MultiMail (acquired by Palm Inc.).Web Design, Web Application Development (ColdFusion), Online marketing, Search Engine Optimization, UI design (Palm OS software), icon design.
