Wireline Field EngineerHalliburton 1998 - 1999Houston, Texas, UsHalliburton Wireline division out of New Iberia, Louisiana managed the open hole and cased hole operations for Louisiana, and handled jobs in Gulf of Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. I attended the 3 month long wireline training school in Ft. Worth, TX. I worked as a field engineer in open hole land rig wells. Responsible for running, calibrating and maintaining wireline equipment. Worked with MRI, Sonic, Neutron source, as well as the fleet of calipers and mechanical tools.My accomplishments included:♦ Learning the full range of open hole tools and the wireline truck operation in Halliburton's fleet at the time. ♦ Running tools on location at several land rigs. ♦ Responsible for trouble shooting equipment failures and testing prior to projects.
