At Yoga Magazine i was solely responsible for keeping our website www.yogaonline.nl fresh with new content. Through the site we offer instructional yogavideo's and articles on yoga and lifestyle.

Most students struggle for some time with physical or mental problems during their studies. Alot of them are reluctant to seek help when this happens.To help them find the right information on subjects concerning their health, and to encourage them to contact a doctor when necessary, we created StudieStress.nl. This webportal links to the most important resources for each city that has a big studentpopulation.Apart from gaining experience in writing for the web and designing a user-friendly information architecture, i've used Gerry McGoverns Carewords-research technique. It helps you determine which keywords convince visitors they're finding the information they need. This way, you can communicate more effectively and keep visitors coming back for more.

For their 40-years anniversary the six legal aid centers in Amsterdam organised a symposium and published a book. I designed the inside, the cover was done by Luite Snijder.

Argos Zorggroep runs several homes for the elderly. I worked on two of their magazines intended for residents. For each magazine I handled editing and layout of the articles. When I came in I also created the template for the two magazines, since I was the first to occupy this position.

ASVA offers housing mediation, legal advice and other services to people studying in Amsterdam. ASVA also lobbies on local and national level for better education and affordable facilities for students.During my time with ASVA, I compiled content for ASVA's newsletter, website and editorial in 'Folia', the magazine for students at the University of Amsterdam.I replaced the editor-in-chief temporarily during october and november of 2008.

Reclassering Nederland is the Dutch probation service. I was initially hired for a period of six months, for their office in Amsterdam. Along with six colleagues I checked the different reports being written about clients (suspects, convicts and ex-convicts) for factual errors and spelling errors. We also handled the correspondence with clients and took minutes in meetings of different departements. I was offered a prolongation of my contract but declined, because of my wish to grow in another direction: online publishing.

The second project I did for the RACM, this time their collection of old building plans had to be prepared for digitalization. I had to check the fragile documents for any grave damage and then repackage them.

The RACM (at the time the abbreviation was RDMZ) is the governmental agency concerned with the protection of the dutch heritage. I was hired to reorganize one of their archives, which held the descriptions of monuments nationwide. My task was preparing the archive for digitalization while making sure the paper version of the archive could be preserved.
