This exploration of seascape classes and biological associations demonstrate a step towards the application of these novel methods to current marine resource management strategies, such as Ecosystem-Based Management.As part of the NSF National Research Traineeship in Risk and Uncertainty Quantification in Marine Systems, I work with a transdisciplinary team of scientists to classify regions of distinct environmental stress for living marine resources in the Gulf of Alaska, known as "stress-scapes." Our methods reconcile and measure the effects of multiple, compounding stressors and quantify associated model uncertainties. Successfully defended Thesis on October 12, 2020. -
