We developed an EDIFACT Type A engine which we integrated with the Amadeus GDS, and an AIRIMP Type B engine which we integrated with the Galileo/TravelPort GDS.Airline Executive Operations ManagementAs Executive Manager Operations with a leading regional airline, I was the Responsible Person Operations, managing a fleet of 21 aircraft performing more than 800 scheduled flights a week to 30 destinations in SA and the region. We operated on 4 separate AOC’s registered in 3 different countries, which exposed me to the Bilateral- and Air Service License application processes.With ACS we designed, developed and implemented enterprise modeling software to accurately assess airline viability allowing ‘what if’ permutation calculations. I have modeled the revenue- and expense- streams of various airlines and have an intimate understanding of the different drivers of the airline business model.Airline Operations ExpertAs Chief Pilot responsible for ‘Operations and Standards’, I made a detailed study of the SA CAA Regulatory framework, while managing the performance standards and efficiency of a pool of 80 crew sets.
