My whole life I've been a tinkerer. As a young boy my Grandfather used to keep me occupied by having me take apart old radios and appliances so I could better learn what makes them tick and how to put them backtogether. My father was and avid DIY'er and woodworker who taught me how to use power tools, wax and polish cars, and to solder electronic components with Mr. Miagi like attention to detail and execution. I started playing guitar at age 15 and by 16 I was sanding the finish off the back of my neck and that horrid Sea Foam green off my BC Rich Warlock to take it from 80's metal Poison to thrash metal Megadeth. I liked the way my other guitar's humbuckers sounded, so I was drawing wiring diagrams of both guitars so I could swap the pickups out and experiment with changing components and chasing tone. Since then I've routed out pickup cavities, experimented with different nut materials, installed different preamps and bridges, soldered countless wiring configurations, leveled and polished frets, cleaned and reconditioned fretboard, lowered saddles, tweaked trussrods, drilled tuners, sanded, stained, and repainted finishes, glued acoustic bridges, glued and clamped broken headstocks, and obsessed over different tone wood combinations all in the pursuit of refining and making instruments sound, look, and feel their absolute best.I work out of my home shop in East Orlando and would love the opportunity to create a better playing experience for you.
