Willerstorfer Font Foundry is one of Austria’s leading and most successful type foundries based in Vienna. Our first two releases, the type families Acorde® and Sindelar®, raised international interest and were critically acclaimed for their design and quality. Among the numerous trophies these type families have been awarded, are highly respected design prizes such as the prestigious Red Dot Award: Best of the Best, the renowned iF Design Award in Gold, the Communication Arts Award of Excellence, and the coveted German Design Award.

Stefan Willerstorfer has given classes and lectures at the University of Reading, at the University of Applied Sciences Joanneum in Graz (Austria), and at the Advertising and Design Academy of WIFI Tyrol in Innsbruck (Austria).

Stefan Willerstorfer contributed to projects for the following national and international clients in the media industry: Axel Springer AG, Styria Medien AG (Vecernji list, Zagreb), Mittelbadische Presse (Offenburger Tageblatt), Ludwigsburger Kreiszeitung, Oberösterreichische Nachrichten, and Hessische Allgemeine.
