In my second career, I enjoyed a successful business exit from a “low-burn” technology innovation startup I founded with $1,000 in initial capital. I grew from a commercial consulting operation to a Defense & Intelligence government contracting business organically, without outside investors, to over 300 employees. Along the way I experienced all director and officer business positions and roles including governance (Board of Directors), C-Level leadership, management, business development, capture and proposal. In my first career, I was a Principal Engineer for a multinational IT services firm for 10 years. My professional experience is grounded in business and technology education at VA Tech, earning MBA and BSEE degrees.
