My name is Will Hamelink, and I am from Charlotte, North Carolina. I am currently working toward a degree in Business Administration at UNC's Kenan-Flagler Business School, with a minor in Entrepreneurship through the Shuford Program of Entrepreneurship. My curiosity, adaptability, and passion for problem-solving in dynamic environments have defined my academic journey. I have consistently sought opportunities to challenge myself, whether through internships in private equity and finance or leadership roles in student organizations like the UNC Club Soccer team. These experiences have allowed me to develop a strong sense of empathy, resilience, and a dedicated work ethic.I am deeply committed to personal growth and believe in learning through diverse challenges that push me beyond my comfort zone. Outside of academics, I have pursued creative endeavors like designing murals for local schools and competed at a high level in soccer, including being a starter for six years in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy. I am always eager to connect with others who share my passion for growth and making an impact.Service is also a key aspect of my personal and professional life. From volunteering with Habitat for Humanity to serving as a student ambassador at UNC, I am committed to giving back and making a positive impact in my community. Whether building homes for families in need or fostering connections between UNC alumni and students, I believe that meaningful service is about creating lasting change and strengthening the bonds that tie us together.
