Improving Uber's Maps

Worked as a software engineer on the VSTS Framework/Version Control Teams.Helped scale the framework under Visual Studio Team Services from one physical instance hosting 30K accounts and one service to multiple data centers supporting millions of accounts and hundreds of micro-services.Re-wrote the SQL schema to be more resilient by automating the online migration of terabytes of user data, with no negative impact to service health.Helped build a virtual file system over git to handle repos with 80gb pack files and 500gb working directories.Added NTLM authentication to the open source Git-LFS project in Go.Worked solving day-to-day problems in automated-email, data storage, DNS routing, test frameworks, and source control.

Built the operational intelligence system for Visual Studio Online.Designed and implemented the process responsible for monitoring the SQL Azure Reporting Services SLA. Worked in an agile environment and owned the programming process, from writing design specs through unit testing.

Designed dynamic web pages for the Health Facilities Planning Agency using the .NET framework, SQL Server, jQuery and AJAX.
