Consulting continues into the data gathering process to generate an architectural configuration document for how the SDWAN will be configured at a granular level.Cooperate remotely with onsite technical resource to orchestrate SDWAN and LTE appliances installed, activated configuration via zero touch provitsion bootstrap, and turn up network services for sites.Provisioning SDWAN configurations ahead of time in order to build cloud-based management director hosted configuration templates for setups including but not limited to: site to site dynamic tunnels, remote site IPSEC tunnels / VPNS, WAN traffic steering and forwarding profiles utilizing SLAs, automated failover methodology, link aggregation, VRRP / VIPs and high availability setups, cgNAT, DHCP services, QOS services, full UTM suite of services (Palo Alto VPN & FWaaS & Versa UTM), virtual routing and redistribution of routes mainly via BGP, etc.Work with customer contacts to ensure successful operation of internet and network resource requests, perform cli-level testing of configurations for documentation, as well as any necessary troubleshooting such as session data and packet captures.Use applications such as Versa Management Director, Cradlepoint NetCloud, IPControl, SolarWinds, Zabbix, Sharepoint, and myriad of internal systems to deliver world-class services.Consulting and technological onboarding for SDWAN services for new and existing customers.Cooperate and communicate with project management team as well as other team members to fulfill tasks and timelines of projects.Creating bill of materials for procurement to use to ship the needed equipment to customer sites.

Advanced SD-WAN, security & virtual networking to configure and support digital experiences

Role was primarily focused on a new build for a 16 story hospital with 2 MDFs and 52 IDFs servicing approx 50k data ports.• NAC server administration: creating profiles and ensuring devices onboard successfully.• Creation of subnets and allocating IP addresses via DHCP server and per-device reserved DHCP entries.• Provisioned wifi access points into wireless management service.• Supported setup of VoIP system by updating DHCP options with per-area server addressing.• Physical installation of network hardware in a primarily Extreme/Avaya environment. Including out-of-band hardware and networkable PDU hardware. Most everything is fully redundant and multi-homed.• Kept extensive documentation and communicated any actions taken clearly.• Fiber patching throughout large building.• Ensured network connectivity throughout IDFs/TDRs• Made sure switch configurations were correct including checking VLANs, DHCP, SNMP, EAP, RADIUS, STP, MLT, etc. Primarily used putty & secureCRT for CLI management, occasionally GUI.• Appended VLANs and MLT configs to upstream routers/virtual services platforms. • Extensive experience troubleshooting layer 1 & 2 including wiresharking ports, fiber t-shooting using db meter, cleaning fiber tips, identifying copper miswiring or damage via t-shooting at edge CLI.• Participated in resolution of onboarding and connection issue tickets served via ticketing system. Communicated directly with submitters and other involved parties for next steps, if necessary.• Kept track of supply levels & contacted equipment vendors to order necessary materials.• Worked independently with little supervision and functioned as a team leader for fellow on-site team members.

Sales support, on-site event support, configurations, occasional infrastructure repairs/mods, and assist remote network service team with deployments. Working with internet infrastructure, wifi deployments, office LAN setups, POTS system, and hardwire configs. Events range from small office setups to 2000 people conferences.I worked with our sales department to find and capture opportunities. I worked with upcoming clients to discover their needs and discuss pricing and options. I set up the network-side of things for groups and do configuration and extensive testing pre-event. I also provided on-site support during events and provided bespoke "help desk" services.

In this role I wore many hats - setting up lights, soundsystems, projection, video, and other event technologies, managing crews of part-time workers, some rigging, networking small office setups, consulting one-on-one with meeting organizers to make their meeting the best possible, and assisting with the acquisition and maintenance of equipment.
