I’ve always loved IT and developed a passion for Cyber Security while working at NASA to protect our space program’s information. It was there I realized the importance Cyber Security plays for all businesses and that I had an opportunity to be part of that. Over the years, I've worn many hats-IT Project Manager, Data Systems Lead, Cyber Defense Supervisor, Deputy Program Manager, IT Infrastructure Services Manager, IT Security Services Manager, and Global Cyber Defense & Engineering Program Manager while gaining extensive experience in leading agile teams in projects to deliver transformational systems and frameworks. As a result, I cultivated an expertise for setting the vision and strategy for improving security and risk mitigation. What my teams and I do matters. There’s nothing greater than finding opportunities for technology improvements in our lives and businesses, and it’s a fantastic process that I feel lucky to participate in. I’ve had the opportunity to learn from, be mentored by, and pass that mindset forward. I like the challenge of learning new information and enjoy being able to share it, mentor, and coach. My team and I stay updated on the latest trends to keep the organization on the cutting edge. I believe I've been successful in each role I take on because I deliberately took my career across the technology spectrum to draw upon a breadth of experience to solve problems. A few accomplishments I'm proud of include: • Positioned CNH Industrial to be on the cutting edge of security by building two Security Operations Centers in South Dakota and India for 24/7 operations. • Safeguarded ENGIE North America while completing mergers and acquisitions for five different entities and partners, completing domain migration of 2000 users, 300 servers, and file shares. • Improved NASA’s security posture with NIST-compliant security plans to identify and assess new security risks, vulnerabilities, and controls that gained 100% approval. • Increased efficiency and reduced cost 30% through negotiations of contracts at NASA/ MEI Technologies. • Amplified disk response by a factor of 10 while managing a $10M contract to deploy new storage solutions at NASA. • Co-authored the Johnson Space Center Infrastructure and Information Technology Mission and Vision, and defined objectives for a 20-year plan for the center.
