I am a student at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering. I have an array of different programming languages that I am familiar with, and several that I have in-depth knowledge of including C#, Java, and SQL. I first began coding several years ago at a selective academy offered through a local college while I was a high school student, and further developed my skills outside of coursework on passion projects along with several other people. While I was working at my previous workplace occupation at Culver’s, I was required to adapt to frequently changing situations due to severe and prolonged understaffing which allowed me to greatly improve my ability to communicate with team members and efficiently lead teams to improve the customer experience. Adaptation was a defining feature of my time there and helped me discover solutions to pressing issues in difficult situations. Because of the variety of different activities, I participated in, including my work at Culver’s varsity swim team, and schoolwork at high school and college, I also learned to efficiently manage my time, so I did not fall behind on any of them. The nature of this schedule also required me to be very adaptable, as the constant flux of different activities meant that I was consistently improving my ability to react to difficult situations.
