I am a marine science student and am passionate about conservation efforts and the biodiversity of our oceans. My favorite phylum of animals are the Cnidarians. I would love to research jellies, corals, and anemones. I currently volunteer at the UF Whitney Lab for Marine Bioscience in their sea turtle hospital. Working with these animals has been enriching and really solidified my passions for this field. I am also currently an extern in the Marine and Community Conservation Externship provided by the National Geographic Society and The Nature Conservancy.
