Performs or assists in fabrication, modification, assembly, installation, operations, and build to print of moderately complex assemblies and wire harnesses.Fabricates, assembles, modifies, and installs laboratory equipment, experimental apparatus, or commercial hardware of moderate complexity.Identifies operation or equipment problems and reports deficiencies.Skilled in pipe fitting, tube bending and compression fittings. Bends and forms stainless steel tubing to meet Engineering drawings.Operates a variety of power and hand tools such as drill press, taps, grinders, tube benders/cutters, torque wrenches and measuring devices. Skilled in hoisting and rigging practices using cranes and powered lift trucks.Work with or on assemblies where radioactive materials are present.

Perform a variety of systems integration equipment and/or process operation involving an application of technical skills.Interpret engineering drawings and diagrams.Notify appropriate personnel for changes needed in work instructions or drawings.Maintain/revise manufacturing work instruction in electronics instruction and reporting systems.Assist Engineering in the set-up manufacturing processes.Seek out opportunities for process improvements.Troubleshoot manufacturing system and processes issues to root cause.Repair and/or modify manufacturing systems under the direction of senior specialists and/or engineers.May perform preventive maintenance functions on manufacturing equipment.Implement and document basic practical solutions for process improvements.Execute experiments under the direction of an engineer or senior specialist.Communicate with internal customer include manufacturing support manager, production personnel, coach, operation manager, and engineering.Test, and/or assemble and test different type of AC,DC components.Test and maintain ESS systemsAssembles electrical and electro-mechanical systems and prototypes according to engineering data and knowledge of product specification using hand tools and measuring instruments.Collaborates with engineers and production personnel to identify, define and solve developmental problems.
