A Cprime Agile Instructor (4 years), SAFe certified SPC, RTE, Coach & AI Agilist, my career is about promoting a continuous learning culture both individually and within organizations. I agree with Peter M. Senge when he states: "Real Learning gets to the heart of what it means to be human"(The Fifth Discipline). In addition to teaching, I also have developed my own Agile courseware, and frequently mentor less experienced IT professionals regarding their work or career path. Most recently my interest has turned to using AI for the automation of SAFe processes. My style of management is guided by the Agile principle of a T - Shaped or Comb-Shaped competency (David Geste) 1991 and involves the discipline of becoming a specialist in multiple areas, and a generalist in many more. My Agile journey over the last decade has led me to additional specializations i.e. DevSecOps and AI. When I realized no Agile software development team could deliver MVP to Production every 2 weeks without DevOps, I received a Hands-On DevOps PG Certification from CalTech and have taught DevSecOps. With Covid and the proliferation of remote teams, I focused on Emotional Intelligence in team building and have become a specialist teaching classes in this area as well. More recently, I have instructed and Introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI) course, and recognize the need to move from generalist to specialist learning more about the technologies here and how they apply to the SAFe framework. I also have shifted my focus from the private sector to the public sector, and hope to give back my knowledge and key learning to the U.S. government agencies, so they become the leanest and shortest lead times to delivery in the world.
