U.S. Naval Reserve Officer (rank of Commander; retired August 1st, 2017). In addition to numerous staff roles supporting operational units, served in senior supply chain and logistics roles during two separate deployments to Afghanistan and Kuwait in 2006 and 2012, respectively. Extensive experience working with and training foreign military services on supply chain and logistics best practices.

Selected to join the core team charged with ensuring the Agency can meet its Congressionally-mandated audit readiness timeline. Currently serve as the Lead Process Integrator for DLA Energy’s Plan-To-Stock financial improvement audit readiness program, partnering with the team to review and certify corrective action plans that address deficiencies. Collaborate across numerous internal teams to ensure actions are implemented, closed, and reported against Department of Defense-wide plan. Facilitate the tracking progress of plan-to-stock audit and compliance efforts across five locations and draft briefing materials to ensure transparency of progress against plans.Previous roles included:-- Overseas Stock Positioning Policy Analyst, coordinating the development and implementation of supply chain policy between headquarters and field activities for the storage of owned and managed materiel at overseas locations including Europe, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East. -- Human Performance Lead, supervising all phases of change management, knowledge transfer, training and organizational alignment supporting the Navy supply storage and distribution personnel transferred to DLA as a result of Base Realignment and Closure decision.-- Senior Business Analyst, supporting a range of programs. Led DLA’s enterprise functions for logistics forecast accuracy and attainment to plan in order to more accurately project customer requirements and reduce inventory costs. Wrote or reviewed all warehouse business change requests and collaborated with IT to ensure accuracy, business prioritization and system integration and implementation. Utilized the Balanced Scorecard to design and manage reporting, including plan progress, work prioritization, and continuing education of workforce. Created the performance metric of “Percent Forecast Error” to help field sites optimize and improve forecasts.

Consulting engagements included:DLA, National Inventory Management Strategy- Led the effort to map the Navy’s “as is” and “to be” materiel management processes, including defining baseline performance and measures and identifying needed technology system changes- Helped guide and support development of an economic analysis, an inventory management implementation roadmap, and a transition plan for each phase of implementationDepartment of Homeland Security, Bureau of Customs and Border Protection- Led the coordination and support for a facility management project- Led the customer service function, including resolving service issues and requestsOffice of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Command, Control, Communications and Intelligence- Coordinated DoD's information assurance interactions for identifying, allocating, authorizing, and budgeting resources - Maintained the database for tracking information assurance resources for four military services and 17 agencies. Researched and applied legislative requirements; verified compliance and reconciled data; and developed the strategy for data collection and information flow - Created presentations and financial statements for senior executivesDepartment of Justice, Immigration and Naturalization Service - Developed the deployment strategy and supported the hardware deployment for a new IT system- Led coordination of project details and logistics for the system deployment with nearly 90 field sitesNaval Air Systems Command - Delivered technical and advisory support for the client’s Business Process Reengineering (BPR) implementation, including verifying achievement of strategic and financial goals for the four Fleet Repair Centers- Performed data and situational analysis of costs, savings and schedules in support of recovery or work-around plans. Refined and applied benefit realization matrices. - Monitored and reported on execution performance and consistency at aviation repair facilities.

Deputy Site Director, Fleet & Industrial Supply Center (San Diego, CA)- Managed the supply chain for three aircraft repair/overhaul and manufacturing production lines at the Navy’s largest Fleet Repair Center- Directed a $2.8M budget and led a team of 165 people- Represented the organization in the Navy’s pilot programs for BPR, ERP, and Manufacturing Resources Planning (MRP)Senior Department Head, USS Fort McHenry (Sasebo, Japan)- Led the supply function that supported operations for an overseas ship of 230 Sailors and a routine troop surge of 1,000 Marines during missions throughout Asia Pacific- Managed purchasing, inventory control, food service, retail operations, payroll and distribution and handling of sensitive repair components- Coordinated with a worldwide network of resources, including U.S. and foreign governments and private contractors, to meet supply and logistics requirements during operations in Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and South Korea- Supervised 100 staff members, leading them to achieve numerous awards for excellence- Conducted audits to ensure compliance with federal/military regulations and international lawsAviation Support Division Officer, Naval Air Station Patuxent River (Patuxent River, MD)- Managed the aviation maintenance support function for nearly 200 aircraft - Streamlined the supply chain, resulting in 90% availability of parts to better support operations- Developed a tracking process to better manage the lifecycle repair of components- Helped develop the initial repair plan for a new aircraft, creating the parts tracking procedure through the intermediate and depot-level maintenance cyclesAssistant Supply Officer, USS John A.
