Construction Manager with overall construction responsibility for a 2.8 Billion Dollar Clean Air Environmental Construction Project on a 3600 M.W. coal fired generation plant. This project includes the construction of 4 bag-houses, 4 SCRs, 4 FGD Scrubbers, Pac Ash Cells, CCB Cells, Limestone unloading and 2 ball mill grinding facility along with extensive boiler work and numerous Plant facility buildings. Actual construction started in 2006 with planned completion in 2014. I was totally engaged in this project through the initial conceptual design and constructability efforts, design phase, bid phase and the construction implementation. I managed on average 30-50 active contracts (both lump sum and reimbursable) with a staff of 5 Assistant Site Managers and their 65 direct reports. I was proactive in personnel development thus able to hand the completion of this project to one of my assistant Site Managers so I could start a new Environmental project, at hand off we had successfully (on Schedule, under Budget) completed 4 Baghouses, 3 SCRs, 3 FGDs, PAC Ash Cell & CCB Cells and were 75% complete on the remaining SCR & FGD. At that time we had expended over 17 million man-hours , 2300 craft at peak, with a project RIR of .50. My direct responsibilities also included oversight of the safety performance and quality program performance of the contractors on the project as well as budget adherence, cost forecasts, change management, schedule adherence and supervision of my direct report staff. I was and continue to be actively involved with the Projects Safety Leadership Team and various safety sub commmittees, as a member,Vice-Chairman and Chairman.

I worked during this period of time I worked on several Projects including 2 2 on 1 Combined Cycle Units at Plant Harris, SCR's and Balanced Draft Conversions on Units 3 & 4 at Plant Bowen, PRB conversion and ESP Projects on Units 1 & 2 at Plant Scherer and SCR install and Cooling Tower Replacement at Plant Crist.

I am currently Construction Manager on a project consisting of the construction of two 1000 mw Baghouses as well as ACI & SAMC technologies on each of 4 coal fired units. Along with these major projects we will also be rebuilding and enhancing two ESPs, adding a third ball mill to the existing limestone grinding facility, a new 36,000 sf Admin facility, construction of two new lined Coal Combustion By Product Storage cells and numerous other MATS Reliability projects on site to support the project. The largest single contract ( ESPs, Bag Houses, ACI & SAMC systems) on this project is in the form of a Labor Broker arrangement, with the balance being Lump Sum Independent contractors. This project is scheduled to be complete in 2016.
