The Vice President of Research and Development (R&D) is responsible for managing and leading software development for the System Innovators product lines to meet corporate requirements for functionality, quality, schedule and cost. The role is considered part of the System Innovators’ leadership team and reports directly to the Executive Vice President.The key objective of this position (in addition to the operational responsibilities below) is to INSPIRE the organization to become an industry leading, high quality producer of revenue management solutions. Defining processes, procedures, and metrics that will allow us to reach our potential while maximizing our effectiveness and efficiency is crucial to achieving our goals as an enterprise level provider. Project Manager for CaseSoft suite of products. Utilize Agile/SCRUM and Test Driven Development. CaseSoft and Sanction are Desktop applications supporting Litigation services. Additionally we are expanding our platform to iOS and are developing iPad apps to interface with our CaseSoft suite. I am currently managing a team of 14 BA, QA and Development members that are distributed from Phoenix AZ to Ohio, Florida, and India. Average release cycles are from 6 to 9 months.

Managing development of firewall engine. Kernel/OS level development along with appliance development.

Manager of Software Development of Data Collection suite of products. Included translation (L10N), C#, .NET, COM, and C development for web based and rich clients. Also managed development of interview dialer appliance.

Software development manager, Quality Assurance Manager.

As primary software engineer and designer, worked on projects for the development of three critical software applications: MIMIX dr1, MIMIX Runbook, and MIMIX Availability Manager. Products developed for iSeries and Windows using Java, JDBC, and C++ for Web and rich client management consoles; Server processes and developed using C, C++, TomCat, Java, JDBC, DB2, RPG III, RPG ILE, CLLE and Apache as well as other open source utilities. Served as customer liaison for critical support questions. Maintained MIMIX HA, MIMIX Object, MIMIX Data, and MIMIX Replicator through seven full cycle releases.
