I am a Mechanical Engineer earning my MBA to continue honing my skills in problem solving and finding the “why” behind the data. My previous experiences in project management, process improvement, and manufacturing have exposed me to the transformative results that can be found through data analytics, and I look forward to bringing this mindset to my future roles. Skills: coding in R, Python, Matlab, and Excel VBA. Also proficient in Tableau, Solidworks, Inventor, and AutoCAD, having used them for multiple projects during my schooling. I believe that it is important to utilize the technology that is becoming available to streamline processes and bring companies into the future. In my experience at GE Vernova, I was able to leverage our technology resources to make a significant improvement in how we could respond to a dynamic workplace through data analysis. This lowered the load on the quality engineers, allowing them to handle other issues. During my time in project management, I focused on interfacing with subcontractors and clients, which taught me a lot about communicating with the audience and end goal in mind. By leaning on relationships and understanding what the client’s goals were for the project, I would work with contractors to solve issues that would arise, such as supply chain disruptions, design flaws, and more. Keeping the goal of completing the project in mind allowed me to create solutions that would help both the contractors and owners and allow the project to progress.I am looking to leverage my experience in problem solving and data analysis to break into the consulting field, particularly in process improvement and business analytics. I believe that my past experience in the energy industry, data analytics, and engineering will allow me to quickly adapt to any industry after I complete my MBA in May 2025.
