•Project manager of the design and build of a new $146M fermentation facility in north Iowa scheduled to begin operation in June 2014.•Responsible for front end planning, project design, construction, budget, schedule, engineering personnel hiring and corporate reporting.•Managed design process with architectural and engineering firm.•Managed technology transfer from existing third party manufacturing site, Abbott Laboratories.•Managed $30M of equipment purchases for the project, including specifications and contract terms.•Manage hiring plan for 89 personnel to support the facility.•Oversaw project launch in 2009 and scope development with cost estimate.•Managed cost estimate and project proposal to Board of Directors.

•Managed the production of all product lines through third party manufacturers representing $160M in annual revenue.•Responsible for an annual budget of $2.8M consisting of: third party manufacturing, capital expenditures, process improvements, equipment replacement and human resources.•Directed all contract negotiations with third party manufacturers, which include pricing, service agreements and product specifications. •Conducted monthly finance review with Sr. Director of Finance and held accountable for all manufacturing variances that affect the P&L.•Consistently delivered approximately $250K (0.5% of Cost of Goods) in annual cost savings/avoidance by effectively monitoring and managing third party production.•Developed and coached a staff of 4 consisting of engineers and manufacturing specialists.

•Managed the major construction stages of a new production facility in Thailand, including the development of process specifications and the design of capital equipment. This project resulted in annual savings of $7.5M.•Responsible for new product development for the following product categories: tennis balls, racquetballs, platform balls and tennis racquets.•Designed the Double Core Tennis Ball, produced in Thailand. This product included a patented nano-coating and new cloth covering. •Designed the Rally Ball, produced in Indonesia. This required the design of new product specifications, tooling and packaging. Directed the International Tennis Federation on the testing and specifications for this new product.
