Built and oversees Invenergy’s multi-disciplined global compliance function, ensuring that business activities across the company meet and exceed global regulatory and contractual requirements and contributes to defining strategic and tactical directions for Invenergy's businesses in the U.S. and overseas. Will also supports Invenergy's General Counsel in management of the company's 60+ Legal & Compliance Department, supports key corporate level transactions and is leading Invenergy's ESG team and ESG program development.

Oversaw management of the Legal Department as interim general counsel. Responsible for oversight of all legal matters for the company, including financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, general commercial transactions, compliance and corporate governance best practices, government and regulatory affairs, corporate formation and maintenance and employment-related issues. Participated in the recruitment and management transition to new general counsel.

Served as primary internal point of contact in the establishment of corporate administrative infrastructure supporting Invenergy’s international development and operations, coordinating with departments throughout the company in diligence of new country opportunities, development of new country entry and operational plans and integrating Invenergy's international efforts with its existing domestic corporate function.

Responsible for providing and arranging for legal support for varied aspects of Invenergy’s development, operations and energy sales divisions. Also served the company as counsel on domestic and international corporate transactions, including sales, acquisitions and joint ventures.
