• Provides oversite of inventory control operations for book to floor (B2F) and floor to book (F2B) first and second counts ensuring quantifiable accuracy on over 99,000 National Item Identification Number (NIIN) stored line items, received a commendable rating for the first month after hire of contract for exceeding the daily requirement inventory of 1300 lines per day for a total of 42,000 lines, achieving an above 90% accuracy on inventoried items• Assists in the development of quality control plans and process improvement initiatives to enhance overall inventory accuracy and accountability• Ensures safety, quality control, and proper utilization of assigned Material Handling Equipment (MHE) are being practiced and monitored, reducing/mitigating possible risks of on the job accidents• Identify and report inventory discrepancies through research analysis, conducting 2nd counts, annotating inputs and processing adjustments into the Material Access Technology (MAT) system• Tracking and monitoring physical counts completed, each’s, not in locations (NILs), found in locations (FILs), and total 2nd counts on all Direct Material Inventory DMI stock items, along with additional areas based on inventory count outcomes i.e. repacking, relabeling, and marking of materials, re-warehouse material in order to consolidate stock, assist in manual file search and receipts, validate that all materials are properly labeled• Performs investigations involving a variety of errors such as incorrect issue/receipt transactions, improper or incomplete stock number changes, improper condition code changes, duplicate shipments, erroneous inventory adjustments, and failure of warehouse to maintain accurate locator records etc.• Performs 2nd counts on any inventory discrepancies and confirms 3rd counts if needed• Perform daily quality check/quality assurance surveillances on inventoried stock items, reporting weekly numbers and findings to the contractor's Project Supervisor
