I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences, Policy and Management focused in Corporate Environmental Management in Spring of 2015. With multidisciplinary coursework ranging from pollution prevention and environmental engineering to accounting and supply chain management, I have developed the analytical and technical knowledge necessary for managing environmental performance and compliance within the cost-oriented business world. I am currently working as an intern with the Minnesota Technical Assistance Program on a project to provide cost-saving energy efficiency recommendations for a large scale manufacturer of paving equipment. Through prior work experience in metal fabrication, I developed a strong interest in the mitigation of the environmental impacts associated with energy and resource intensive manufacturing processes. I hope to apply my experience and knowledge to a career in EHS/CSR management in the manufacturing sector.
