I currently work as the Director of Data Sciences, Analytics and Management at DLH. My current role is the Program Director for the Support Services for Epidemiology Contract within the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences Epidemiology Branch. I previously was the lead epidemiologist at SSS/DLH and work primarily on contracts for the NIEHS including the GuLF STUDY, the Social and Environmental Determinants of Health Equity Group (Dr. Chandra Jackson), and the Environmental Polymorphisms Registry. I enjoy using programming and epidemiological methods in these large prospective cohort studies to study the impact of environmental and lifestyle exposures on population health. These cohorts allow for both hypothesis driven and opportunistic research, enabling me and the investigators to explore outcomes not imagined when the studies were designed. Generally, my research interests include chronic diseases, specifically cancer and cardiovascular disease, how sleep effects human health, and epi methods.
